Melasma is a common and pesky skin problem that presents as brown to gray-brown patches on the face. Most people get it on their cheeks, chin, nose bridge, forehead, and above the upper lip. Most times, this is a chronic condition exacerbated by sun exposure, heat, birth control, pregnancy, certain medications. The goal isn’t to completely cure the melasma, but the goal is to manage it.
